Set in East Sussex (TN33) and within easy reach of London, the hotel rests beside a seven-acre lake, enveloped by 78 acres of ancient woodland, streams, and old pastures climbing a chalky hill. Here, nature is gently invited back, offering a place to pause, reconnect, and share time and space with the landscape—whether you arrive as a hotel guest or a local member.

The Pub is open every day for lunch, dinner and drinks, with the kind of classics that remind you why you like pub food in the first place. A variety of dishes and drinks means you could have something different every day of the year and still have a few to discover.

Snacks like oysters, mussels on toast, a sausage roll and a scotch egg. Mains of schnitzel, fish and chips, shepherd’s pie, and a burger or two. Then puddings of sticky toffee, chocolate mousse and local cheese. All washed down with a local Sussex lager, wine, or cocktail made without the fuss.
