Overview
PRIVATE CLUB INTRODUCTIONS
Luxury Restaurant Guide members are invited to enjoy a one-off dining-led introduction to The Lansdowne Club. Access is arranged via the digital Experience voucher in the LRG members app, where full details and reservation instructions can be found.
Standing discreetly on the south-west corner of Berkeley Square, The Lansdowne Club occupies one of Mayfair’s great houses — an 18th-century mansion built to the design of Robert Adam. First established in 1763 and reimagined as a private members’ club in 1935, it remains one of London’s most enduring addresses, notable from the outset for welcoming both men and women on equal terms.
Today, the Club brings together heritage and modernity in equal measure. A blend of classicism and Art Deco design runs throughout — from grand entertaining rooms to more intimate corners — creating a setting that feels both established and entirely current.
At its heart, The Lansdowne Club is a place for dining, socialising and wellbeing in equal measure. From the Art Deco Dining Room and Piano Bar to the Courtyard Brasserie and historic Round Room Cocktail Bar, the Club offers a variety of spaces designed for different moods and moments throughout the day.
While members enjoy a range of dining settings, Luxury Restaurant Guide members are invited to dine in the striking Art Deco Dining Room, with pre-dining drinks in the Piano Bar — a setting that best captures the Club’s approach to gastronomy, centred on seasonal British produce and considered cooking. Regular highlights include a Jazz Night every third Thursday of the month and a Steak Night on the last Friday of the month, both popular fixtures within the Dining Room's calendar.
Through Luxury Restaurant Guide, members are invited to discover The Lansdowne Club through a one-off introductory visit for lunch or dinner — an opportunity to experience the atmosphere of one of Mayfair’s most established private members’ clubs.
DURING YOUR VISIT - LEISURE
Beyond dining, the Club offers one of the most comprehensive private sporting and wellness facilities in central London, including a 25-yard swimming pool, gym, squash courts and fencing salle, alongside a full programme of fitness classes and personal training. During your visit, selected facilities — including the swimming pool, steam room and business suite — may be pre-booked, used and settled on the day (please note squash courts are not included within this experience).
DURING YOUR VISIT - STAYS
For those wishing to extend their time at the Club, accommodation is available on Friday evenings at a preferred member rate.
MEETINGS & EVENTS
A collection of private dining rooms is also available with preferential access for members, suitable for both business and social occasions. To enquire email membership@lansdowneclub.com
WHAT'S ON
