Following a remarkable two-year refurbishment, The Sloane Club has opened a new chapter in its Chelsea history. Its grand 18th-century home on Lower Sloane Street has been transformed by Russell Sage Studio, with new restaurants, bars, lounges, bedrooms and wellness facilities bringing fresh life to a club with more than a century of history.

The Sloane is a sociable club, bringing together Chelsea locals, international members and professionals of all ages. Somewhere to settle in with the papers, meet friends for lunch, work between appointments or stay on for cocktails. There's also a lively programme of talks, exhibitions, performances and cultural events, with plenty of opportunities for members to get to know one another.

The interiors have plenty of talking points. At the Demob cocktail bar, a parachute-silk ceiling pays tribute to the Club's military past. Upstairs, Lila brings dining to the rooftop beneath a retractable roof, while Helena's offers another dining option. Elsewhere, the beautifully redesigned library, lounges and dedicated workspaces provide quieter corners for business or pleasure.

The refurbishment extends well beyond the social spaces. There are 66 bedrooms and suites for members staying in London, alongside a new Bamford wellness suite and fitness facilities. For those looking for a London base that offers considerably more than somewhere to dine, The Sloane Club has plenty to recommend it.

Membership is open to those who appreciate good company, interesting conversation and an active club life. Annual membership available, with tours and introductions to the Membership team available for prospective members.
