The Unruly Pig is the UK's number one gastropub. So says the industry and the critics in a plethora of awards noting its food, its wine, its welcome and even, according to The Financial Times, its walks.
It serves 'Britalian' cuisine: local, seasonal British food but with an Italian influence. It caters for all dietary needs and has specific vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free menus.
Located in Bromeswell, 5 minutes drive from the historic market town of Woodbridge and just 4 minutes drive from Sutton Hoo (where the National Trust's Anglo-Saxon royal burial site is). Rendlesham Forest and Sutton Heath are on its doorstep and the hauntingly beautiful, windswept coast at Shingle Street is nearby.
The separate bar area is very dog friendly (treats are always available), which heightens the relaxed feel. Perfect to pop in for a drink or to spend time tasting fabulous wines and glorious food.
