The Peat Inn is owned by award winning Chef and columnist Geoffrey Smeddle and his wife Katherine, who have successfully built on its very fine reputation as one of Scotland's most cherished destinations. 

The Inn has existed on this spot since the 1700s. Today, the Michelin starred restaurant with rooms continues to welcome guests who appreciate the special and very personal experience which is the hallmark of The Peat Inn. 

Three small dining rooms make up the restaurant, providing an intimate setting for lunch or dinner, with The Fire Room also available for private dining, and the reception lounge with its deep sofas and open log fire, create an atmosphere which is elegant and refined and made all the more enjoyable by the friendly and attentive service. 

From your aperitif upon arrival to coffee and a liqueur before you have to depart, diners will enjoy the wonderful cuisine and hospitality at The Peat Inn.

The Peat Inn Restaurant with rooms offers eight beautifully appointed suites. With choice of rooms available over two floors or ground floor only, each suite has been individually styled and carefully furnished, providing the perfect space to relax.

Members are offered the special rate of £315 per room for Dinner, Bed and Breakfast, with Dinner from the Menu of the Day. Available Tuesday to Thursday January to March and November to December 2020. Subject to availability.
