Overview

The Neptune's rollicking history as a famous coaching house is apparent in its dashing Georgian prettiness, but dining here is an unhurried and relaxed experience where a thoroughly modern feast awaits you.

Owner-Chef Kevin Mangeolles uses only the "best of the best" that Norfolk has to offer in his evolving, seasonal menu. Particular jewels include freshly caught fish and lobsters, Norfolk pork and lamb, fruit from Drove Orchards and local game. With its blazing fire and its flagstones and floorboards, the past is never far away at The Neptune, but there is a lightness of touch that brings a whiff of New England to this pretty pub.
