Madhu's at The Grove

Madhu’s is the family business that has become one of the best-known names in luxury Indian dining and banqueting, with a client list that has included Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle, the House of Commons and 10 Downing Street. Its restaurant at The Grove brings that pedigree to one of Hertfordshire’s grandest country-house hotels.

The dining room is glamorous and contemporary, with a theatrical open kitchen and robata grill at its heart.

The menu draws on the family’s Punjabi heritage and Kenyan upbringing, with recipes and influences passed down through four generations. There are familiar Madhu’s signatures alongside dishes from the tandoor and robata grill — the latter well worth exploring — with the cooking designed very much for sharing.
