The Artichoke Restaurant

Artichoke prides itself on inventive and refined Modern British cuisine with a strong emphasis on seasonality. Working closely with high quality artisan producers and local craftsmen, helping tie together the ethos of the restaurant, and creating the very best neighbourhood dining experience.

A key feature of the restaurant is the open plan kitchen with a collection of chef tables and for those after a more intimate space for a special occasion or party, the upstairs dining room can be turned into a cosy private dining space for up to 14 guests.

The Scandinavian chic influenced interior has been inspired by Laurie’s time spent in Scandinavia and created by interior designer, Fiona Johnston Parke from award-winning Emily Todd Hunter. Complementing the original features of the 16th century Grade Two listed building, the seamless and welcoming space features soft muted tones of walnut, soft greys and pale lilacs, peppered with amethyst glass and local handcrafted pottery vases.
