Pentonbridge Inn is an award-winning restaurant with rooms, all of which have beautiful views over the Cumbrian countryside and rolling Scottish hills. Each room takes its name from a Border Reivers clan, infamous for raiding and marauding their neighbours.
The restaurant menu is designed to highlight fantastic suppliers and the best produce grown in the Walled Garden at Netherby Hall; which is run in the traditional way, producing herbs, fruit and vegetables for the table and flowers for cutting. To further improve the guest experience, diners are now invited to select their favourite dish from each course in order to create their own ‘mini’ bespoke tasting menu.
Expect dishes such as Tartare of Cumbrian Shorthorn Beef, Montgomery Cheddar, Lovage; Wild North Sea Monkfish, Garden Carrot, Champagne, Sorrel; Isle of Gigha Halibut, Garden Leek, Smoked Cod Roe, White Port & Ginger Sauce.
