The Dining Hall at Harrods
London, London - West
Overview
The newly renovated Dining Hall at Harrods is home to six restaurants, each one offering a diverse selection of dishes made using the finest ingredients straight from the Harrods Food Halls. Catering to all tastes and occasions, everything from Australian wagyu beef and hand-made artichoke ravioli to pistachio lamb chops (made by world-renowned chef Vineet Bhatia) is on the menu. It's a gourmet wonderland in the world's most famous department store.
The Grill - Simple and perfectly executed, the butchers' hand-picked meat selection is expertly tended to at The Grill in The Dining Hall. The menu showcases locally sourced produce from Scottish Highland beef (dry-aged in a Himalayan salt room) to English rotisserie chicken as well as worldwide picks such as melt in the mouth Wagyu, all prepared to order over a charcoal grill. A celebration of the very finest cuts cooked to perfection is accompanied by ultimate comfort foods such as truffle mac & cheese, triple-cooked chips and buttered corn on the cob, with a drinks selection of beers, cocktails and bold red wines. Free of frills, yet utterly indulgent.
The Pasta Bar - Fresh, handmade pasta gets a seasonal focus at this Dining Hall restaurant spotlighting the finest ingredients delivered each morning to the Fresh Market Hall. The in-house chefs bring creativity to traditional Italian food, presenting perennial dishes and new specials every day. Delight in the classics - from traditional cacio e pepe to fresh pomodorino - as well as the lesser-known dishes including mafalde with veal ragout, or ask the chefs what they're cooking up on the day at this pasta mecca. Joyous Italian comfort food at its very finest with portions designed to share among your table.
The Sushi Bar - The vision of Mango Tree's Eddie Lim, The Sushi Bar specialises in nigiri and sashimi to allow the chefs to truly showcase their craft, as well as signature and traditional rolls to enjoy. For the full experience, let the experts take the reins and have the sushi chef choose your order: simply ask for the Omakase option, a Japanese concept meaning "I'll leave it up to you".
Kama by Vineet - Bringing authenticity back to London's Indian food, world-renowned Michelin star chef Vineet Bhatia has curated a menu of modernised regional dishes from all over India for this Dining hall restaurant. Simple yet soulful and expertly done, try the signature thali - available as a meat or vegetarian option - or the variety of curries from butter chicken to lamb rogan josh, along with wines, cocktails, lassi and more.
The Fish Bar - A lively eatery in the bustling Dining Hall, The Fish Bar champions the best of British seafood, showcasing ethically caught produce sourced by Harrods fishmongers (including a catch of the day) and selected daily from Harrods very own Fresh Market Hall. Do a tour of the Great British coastline with Scottish scallop carpaccio, Hampshire smoked trout and English rock oysters, while classic dishes include ever-tempting fish and chips and lobster thermidor, with perfect pairings in gin cocktails, champagne and cider.
Caviar House & Prunier - At the central hub of the Dining Hall at Harrods is Caviar House & Prunier, the place to see and be seen in this truly atmospheric room. With an around-the-world list put together by Harrods wine buyers, choose from over 100 cuvées to sample by the glass, or order a bottle straight from the 1,200-strong selection of the Fine Wines & Spirits Room downstairs.
