Jeru transcends the concept of traditional Eastern Mediterranean cuisine into a lifestyle that exists in the here and now, and offers a fine dining experience that converges the very best the region has to offer. Dishes are heavily produce centric and celebrate the ingredients, flavours and techniques inspired by the Eastern Mediterranean. Head Chef Leena D'Onofrio celebrates each dish with a single hero ingredient. Everything else on the plate, from textures to tastes, exists purely to highlight the hero, elevate the dish, and create long-lasting memories.
The interior is eclectic - a multi layered high-end restaurant with an old city style bakery, sophisticated wine bar, theatrical dining space and the unique Layla Bar, juxtaposing a homely, welcoming and relaxed space with extravagance and opulence.
The design transforms age-old architectural forms and textures found throughout the Eastern Mediterranean into contemporary context with curved arch forms, terracotta hues and an earthy palette reminiscent of the era.
