Gordon's Restaurant, transformed from a former dwelling house built in the early 1800's, is a beautiful Victorian building renovated with respect for the character of the old house. The dining room with its exposed stone, beams and wood burning stove lit during chilly days, is a dining room designed with elegance and individuality, with opulent chandeliers and lighting by Spanish designer Mantra. This 28 seat dining room is for relaxed, intimate and cosy dining, in sage and grape tones with striking tones of aubergine, and wallpaper design by Timerous Beasties. All to complement the personal style of simple and imaginative cooking. Slick artistic presentation and fine ingredients add up to superb tasting beautiful dishes.
One of Scotland's best fine dining establishments, Gordon's is a destination restaurant with rooms and has been given a boutique transformation giving it style, quality and comfort. Tucked away in the tiny Angus village of Inverkeilor, near the beautiful Lunan Bay. This is a family run business founded by husband and wife Gordon (former Master Chef of Great Britain) and Maria Watson with their son Garry who was Scottish chef of the year winner and took over the chefs mantle from Gordon after he sadly passed away in 2016. Garry is no less than a master chef himself with his own culinary talent gaining the restaurant 3AA rosettes.
