Bistro at The Boat House

There are a lot of adjectives one can apply to this fine restaurant; simple, jazzy, traditional, funky, nautical, rooted. All of them are true. The beautiful simplicity of the dining room is given a sly tweak by the pockets of quirky styling. The portholes are a just subtle allusion to the water that laps insistently outside. You could imagine Jerome K Jerome having a quiet snifter with Lady Gaga here. The food is exquisite. Delicately designed, cooked with chefly fervour and presented in mouth watering little platefuls.
