Trivet is a stunning collaboration from co-owners Jonny Lake and Isa Bal who met whilst working at Heston Blumenthal's world-renowned Fat Duck restaurant.
With each playing to their strengths, Jonny in the kitchen and Isa making the most of his extensive wine knowledge and exceptional front of house skills, the balance seems just right. Thinking about how food and drink work together, they take a simple idea, then explore countless flavour and texture combinations with the team until it evolves into something new.
The wine list is set out chronologically and follows the historic beginnings of wine to present day, with over 350 wines from classic producing countries such as Italy and France as well as acknowledging the root of viti-vinoculture with wines from Georgia, Armenia and Turkey.
The restaurant itself is glass fronted with two different dining rooms, each one decorated in muted pastel tones and simple Nordic wood creating an warm and friendly atmosphere, the perfect environment for enjoying the expertly created food and drink combinations.
