Black tie. Evening dress. Live jazz. Few places still ask guests to dress for dinner, but Burgh Island's Grand Ballroom is one of them.

Beautifully preserved from the island's 1930s heyday, the Grand Ballroom remains one of Britain's most remarkable dining rooms. Original Art Deco murals, candlelit tables and live music create an atmosphere that feels wonderfully untouched by time, where dinner is still something to look forward to rather than simply fit into the diary.

Open to both residents and non-residents, dinner is accompanied by a live jazz band on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday, with a pianist performing on the remaining evenings.

Dinner is served daily from 6.30pm - 9pm Friday & Saturday or 6.30pm - 8pm Sunday to Thursday.
