Seven Days Left of the Best Club & Eat Out To Help Out Offers in Luxury Restaurants
It’s fueled a restaurant resurgence and got it’s users buzzing about their cheaper bills – from your cookie and cappuccino in the local café, to fancy lunches and dinners. Today, August 14th, just seven operational days remain to benefit from the government’s ‘Eat Out To Help Out’ initiative. Whilst you can, it’s a great opportunity to try out new places and cuisines, with low cost.
More than 73,000 restaurants, cafes and pubs are taking part in the scheme, which offers discounted meals to diners eating-in on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays during August at registered destinations. Diners enjoy up to 50% off food and non alcoholic drinks, up to the value of £10 per person. In many instances, diners who are members of the Luxury Restaurant Club are able to enjoy double discounts and perks…not all though, so please check and book ahead.

Three-course Sussex Menu for two would cost £130, however using the Luxury Restaurant Club member dines complimentary option and the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, two people can dine on three courses for £55. Available Mon/Tue/ Wed until 31 August 2020.

At Gordon Ramsay Restaurants (Heddon Street Kitchen, London House, Union Street Café, The Narrow, Gordon Ramsay Bar & Grill, maze Grill Park Walk, York & Albany), a two course ‘Love London’ menus would be £30 and with fizz each it would be £60, but using the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, two people dine on two courses for £15 with complimentary glass of fizz for Luxury Restaurant Club members. You can add an additional course on the day for an extra £5.

Enjoy classic Gordon Ramsay dishes at Bread Street Kitchen, such as BSK Fish & Chips with crushed peas and tartare sauce for £20 per person or £40 for two. Using the Eat Out To Help Out scheme it would now be £10 per person, or £20 for two with complimentary glass of fizz for Luxury Restaurant Club members worth an additional £30.
There are six classic dishes to choose from, all for £10 or less with the Government’s discount – including fish & chips with crushed peas and tartare sauce, the signature BSK burger, slow roasted Cumbrian pork belly with Braeburn apple purée, butter chicken curry with saffron rice, steamed sea bream or even a delicious Street Pizza.

At Lucky Cat by Gordon Ramsay a three course lunch would ordinarily by £30 pp. There are great new seasonal dishes to enjoy and using the Eat Out To Help Out scheme, available Tuesdays and Wednesdays, it would now be three courses for just £20 per person and Luxury Restaurant Club members also enjoy a complimentary glass of fizz worth £15 per person.

Lunch Time Specials menu at The Pig & Whistle at Healing Manor are served Monday – Saturday and are usually two courses for £16, or three courses for £20, and feature locally sourced ingredients from local makers, producers and growers. However, now the Lunch Time Specials menus are two courses for £7.20 per person or three courses for £9 per person using the Eat Out to Help Out and the Luxury Restaurant Club 10% off.

Coworth Park is proudly participating in the government’s scheme at The Barn. Taking an example of a starter and a main course from the a la carte menu, where an English feta and tomato salad with pickled green strawberries, olives and toasted seeds would ordinarily be £11, and for main choosing the Coworth Park beer-battered haddock, chunky chips and minted peas at £19, two courses would be £30. However, if you are a Luxury Restaurant Club member you would enjoy a 10% reduction, and then the further Eat Out To Help Out Scheme, meaning these two courses from the a la carte would be £17 per person.

Chantelle Nicholson’s contemporary British diner much-loved for its incredible plant-based options is running an offer to all diners on Tuesday and Wednesday in August as part of the Eat Out To Help Out scheme to enjoy a main dish (except steak) and drink (glass of wine or craft beer) for £10 per person.

Benares, who have been so proactive during lockdown is participating in the initiative. Taking the Set Menu as an example, two courses would be £29 per person, or three courses £35 per person. Using the Luxury Restaurant Club 15% offer and the Eat Out To Help Scheme you would now enjoy two courses for £14.65 per person, or three courses for £19.75 per person, as well as a complimentary champagne cocktail for Luxury Restaurant Club members.

Old Chelsea neighbourhood welcomes back one of its favourite brasseries, No Fifty Cheyne. Particpating in the scheme, whereas prior if you had chosen a Chateaubriand 400g to share at £85 and a side dishes of Extra chunky beef fat potato chips £5.50 and English minted peas and confit onion and garlic £5.50, this would now be £76 for two with the Eat Out To Help Out scheme and also will include a complimentary glass of champagne for Luxury Restaurant Club members with lunch.

With the new outdoor dining experience at The Vineyeard, InsideOut, this is a great time to take advantage of Eat Out To Help Out scheme. Dining from the a la carte, and using an example of enjoying a starter of Caesar Salad £9, and 1/2 Lobster with fries and lemon mayo £24 would ordinarily be £34 per person. Using the scheme available on Wednesdays, and this example, two courses would now be £24 per person with Luxury Restaurant Club members enjoying a complimentary glass of Californian sparkling wine worth an additional £9 per person.
