Overview
L'Escargot is one of those well-established and eternally fashionable restaurants in the heart of Soho. Opened originally by a George Goudin to serve fresh snails which were farmed in the basement in 1927 it has had a rich history of colourful managers and owners guiding its famous reputation. Likewise the art on the walls is set to amaze - although changing it has had Picasso, Hockney, Matisse, Miro and many more adorning its walls.
