English Wine Week Dinner at The Gore with Tom Surgey
190 Queen's Gate at The Gore, Kensington Sat, 28th June 2025
Founded in 1892, The Gore has become a legendary hotel, a symbol of the history of British hospitality.
Built as a serviced residence for visitors to London's Great Exhibition, under the patronage of Prince Albert, consort of Queen Victoria, it welcomed guests who wanted to stay in the heart of "the most fashionable area of the city", that is to say in the houses at 189 and 190 Queen's Gate, which form The Gore today.
On Saturday, 28th June, from 7:00pm to 11:00pm, The Gore will host an elegant four-course wine-pairing dinner in partnership with wine expert and author Tom Surgey.
Begin the evening in the library with a glass of fizz and canapés, before savouring a refined menu curated by award-winning Chef Frederick Forster, with each course perfectly paired with exceptional English wines. In the heart of Kensington, flavour and sophistication meet in an unforgettable evening.
