Our history
Founded in 1999 by Tessa Shreeve, after a decade marketing five-star hotels and private clubs internationally, Luxury Restaurant Guide began as a bespoke membership service for boutique hotels.
It has since evolved into a national network supporting Britain’s most exceptional dining destinations — from heritage hotels to new culinary innovators — and has been the selected fine-dining club for subscribers of The Spectator, The Telegraph, The FT, The New Statesman, Country Life, and Apollo, the leading international art publication.
Today, a dedicated team continues to do what we love most: celebrating great hospitality, nurturing restaurant partnerships, and inspiring a community of discerning diners across the UK.
