The Silver Birch
Chiswick laid-back vibes but with serious credentials. The Silver Birch is a smart, neighbourhood restaurant where the food takes centre stage on the bustling Chiswick High Street.
The Head Chef here, Nathan Cornwell, has aided the best in the world to secure Michelin awards with stints at Kitchen W8 (1 Michelin star), Copenhagen’s Geranium (3 Michelin Stars), Stockholm’s Kadeau and Oaxen Krog (2 Michelin Stars respectively), Champignon Sauvage (2 Michelin stars) in Cheltenham, and most recently, four years at The Barn at Moor Hall.
The restaurant showcases the best of British, in both cooking style and ingredients; celebrating locally sourced produce and a menu that evolves with the seasons.
Guests can enjoy dishes such as Confit duck egg, smoked onion, coppa, summer truffles, Devon smoked eel, Jersey Royals, chive, asparagus or Normandy guinea hen, ragout, morels, parsley pesto to name just a few.
When weather permits, The Silver Birch has a neat little terrace out front, to be enjoyed for al fresco dining. A perfect for pared-back dining space with a neutral pallet complemented by pale wood and leather and a subterranean private dining that can cater perfectly for parties of up to 30 guests.
