Overlooking the lake of historic Brocket Hall, Auberge du Lac offers a beautiful, intimate dining experience.
Set in the estate's former hunting lodge, the restaurant is absolutely steeped in historic charm. The grandeur of its background is complemented by the entrancing prettiness of the lodge and makes dining there an atmospheric event. The award winning Auberge du Lac is a place of genuine warmth, atmosphere and charm. An intimate restaurant, with an idyllic terrace open in the summer; Auberge du Lac is a wonderful setting.
Each aspect of the dish complements the other as you would find it in its natural environment; for example, the wild rabbit on the a la carte menu comes with heritage carrot, celeriac, leek and juniper - inspired by seeing the rabbits in the garden.
As such Auberge Du Lac is a fusion of French and English serving contemporary food, using organic produce from authentic suppliers.
