The hotel is distinguishable its own right - an impeccable black and white mock Tudor building in idyllic gardens on the River Teign winning countless accolades for the hospitality of this small and intimate privately owned property. It quickly gained an enviable reputation as one of the most stylish places to dine outside of London.. There are three dining rooms, each moderately different - one contemporary, one light and with access to the gardens and one more traditional and oak panelled. In the restaurant utmost respect for quality produce and drive to ensure ingredients are kept true to their own flavours and identities characterise every dish. Each a masterpiece in its own right, most begin with a sketch, travel through the trial and error process and will only appear fully formed on the menu in their final iteration following exhaustive testing and trialling.
