The restaurant in the 18th-century Mansion House is named after former owner and diamond magnate Sir Julius Wernher. The restaurant stands out as a jewel amidst restaurants in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and beyond. With floor-to-ceiling marble panels, glittering chandeliers and sweeping views of the surrounding parkland, it's a superb venue in which to celebrate a special occasion or dine out in style.

The Wernher continues to build on the enviable reputation that has seen it awarded two coveted AA Rosettes. The restaurant offers a unique dining experience, serving exciting, modern dishes using the highest quality British produce. The table d'hote menu is priced from £26 for two courses, and a speciality menu features a mouth-watering array of seasonal dishes. For a truly memorable gourmet experience, choose the six-course tasting menu for £69.50 per person, which can include specially selected wines to accompany each course for an additional £49.50 per person. Visit for lunch or dinner Wednesday to Saturday, or for Sunday lunch.

Seasonal Flower Display Demonstration

Liz and Claire will be demonstrating different displays celebrating the end of the harvest and the oncoming autumn season. Be inspired to use foraged and bought flowers and foliage along with bark, moss and a collection of natural rustic products.

Event starts at 12 mid-day with a glass of Champagne and canapes on arrival, then relax and be entertained by the wonderful guest hosts before enjoying a delicious three course luncheon.
