Executive Chef  -  Cyrus Todiwala

Cyrus was born and raised in Bombay. Rising to become Corporate Executive Chef of the famous Taj Groups, he left India and in 1995 opened Cafe Spice Namaste in Whitechapel - still a firm favourite with Londoners and global visitors.

In 2011 Cyrus used his experience and reputation to launch Mr Todiwala's Kitchen in West London. He is committed to investing in the development of skills and opportunities amongst his staff and educational opportunities among young people.

DESCRIPTION

A culinary offering like no other, Mr Todiwala's Kitchen carries the name of one of our most unique and characterful chefs. Now a whole new audience can savour his signature Pan-Indian specialities. Diners can indulge in everything from authentic Indian street food to specialities inspired by Cyrus' own rich Parsee culinary heritage. Blending traditional cooking methods with non-traditional ingredients, the result is an array of unique and fragrant dishes, spearheaded by some exceptional signatures.

With interiors by the multi award-winning Design LSM (Demoiselle by Galvin, Fancy Crab) Mr Todiwala's Kitchen presents the warmth and magic of "Todiwala Service" in an exceptional setting. Guarded by a huge elephant, the double height dining room is decorated in bright blues, oranges and reds, complemented by fans created with gorgeous sari fabrics, hanging displays of copper pots, shelves full of Indian artefacts and mismatched furniture.
