Opened in April 2019, Mimo London is the creation of, Jon and Nicole Warren, the husband and wife team behind Mimo in Spain's Basque Country, and is a celebration of the rich culinary heritage of the region. It brings their unique food experiences to the heart of one of London's oldest food markets - Mimo offers hands-on cookery classes, chef's table dining, progressive food experiences and market tours.
Located in a historic building at One Cathedral Street, Mimo respects the architectural history of the market, with gorgeous communal iron and wood tables, original floor-to-ceiling sash windows and brass fixtures which pair well with the contemporary kichens.
The Head Chef, Joseba Lasa is Basque-born. He brings a wealth of knowledge informed by the traditions and cultures of his home country, as well as a refined skill and discipline from his previous role as executive chef at Urban Caprice, cooking for everyone from world leaders to the royal family.
Mimo London's experiences will highlight Iberian cooking, transporting guests from Borough Market to Spain's food capital, San Sebastian. This is different to a usual restaurant dining experience where you will be joining in with, or creating your own chef's table party.
