Hawksmoor Spitalfields opened in June 2006 after owners Will Beckett and Huw Gott decided to open the best steak restaurant in London and what they have created has now arguably become London's best steak house. Spitalfields was the first restaurant in the Hawksmoor group and the general view is that it is where the 'Hawksmoor spirit' is best embodied - many of the staff have worked there for years and would never consider elsewhere. Great steak, great drinks and an amazing atmosphere, full of people who desperately care whether you enjoy your evening.
