Critics have already declared it as 'maybe the best restaurant in the world', so if you are lucky enough to get booked in, you are in for a real treat. This is Heston's first London venture in the luxurious Knightsbridge enclave of the Mandarin Oriental.Headed up by Ashley Palmer Watt's it is a creative take on a modern British Brasserie serving up a 21st Century interpretation on 14th Century recipes (many of which are displayed in the bar wall sourced from rare antique cookbooks). The restaurant is an Adam Tihany design with views to Hyde Park and a feature mechanical pulley system rotating a spit on the open fire rotisserie.
