Led by Guillaume Glipa (of Annabel’s, Zuma, Chiltern Firehouse) the converted Covent Garden townhouse celebrates the “Soul of New Orleans and the suaveness of Paris”, with a seafood bar, evocative cuisine, and a lounge that hosts live jazz every Tuesday to live a luxurious New Orleans fever dream.
Executive Head Chef Slade Rushing has curated a menu that embraces classic French gastronomy and New Orleans revisited Creole dishes. The 150-cover restaurant sits across both the ground and first floor, each floor offering a distinct feel with carefully selected décor; with unsurprisingly music being at the core of Louie. After dinner, guests can move to the third floor into the open lounge and bar where live music and DJ sets* run late into the night and guests spill onto the ambient terrace. The design, by Dion & Arles, draws you into the action, focusing on the smaller, cosier nooks and crannies that are easy to get lost in and creating a sense of excitement and intrigue.
