The Michelin Guide is perhaps the best known and most respected annual restaurant guide book. The term normally refers to the Michelin Red Guide, the oldest European hotel and restaurant reference guide, which awards Michelin stars for excellence to a select few establishments. Exceptional venues are given a star rating awarded each year for their quality of ingredients, preparation skill, combination of flavours, creativity, value for money and consistency of culinary standards. Restaurants are awarded Michelin stars by anonymous independent inspectors.
The Luxury Restaurant Guide features all Michelin restaurants in the UK by their star rating from 1 star to 3 star for quick and easy reference and booking.
